This painting got precious in the early stages and I became stuck as I was painting it. A friend told me to mess it up - cover over the parts I was getting precious about. I did and it was so freeing! I literally splashed black onto the canvas and covered all the “precious bits.” This wouldn’t be what it is without that freeing splash of paint! (Thank you, Lisa!) This to me is a bold statement painting great for an area where you want/need some movement and pop of color with some black and white yumminess. 

This acrylic painting on canvas is 18” x 24”. All edges are painted in a hot pink. Unframed the edges of the canvas will reflect a bit on a light colored wall.
