This painting for me is processing the darkest times in my #csfleak journey, (not tying any bows on anything or silver lining this)…and yet, noticing the undeniable glimmers that crept in time after time in the midst of the “shittiest, shit.” It’s been vital to see these glimmers and it’s been mostly in my loved ones, strangers, my medical providers, nurses, unexplainable kindness. I wouldn’t be here today without it all and this painting is all about acknowledging the deep love and good alongside the worst of it all.
