This painting began in 2020, and then sat for years. Finally got back to it around 2022 and it sat again, until the last month. I finished it the day before “my brother from another mother” left our physical world. I struggle with titles for paintings, however this one was so much about capturing light. It feels peaceful and full of light. He spread joy and light to everyone and that makes me smile just thinking about his humor and love, he is at peace and his light remains. So the title: “Light Remains” feels fitting.
